GlobalCapture Version 3.0 - Spring 2023

The Spring 2023 release of GlobalCapture, version 3.0, is focused on elevating GlobalCapture from a tool used for backend processing of documents, to an end user tool for working them, acting on them, and transforming them.

It provides users a tailored experience, giving them access to documents in various states of processing. It introduces Capture as a business process automation tool that can be fully functional in a standalone form, yet still allows for seamless integration with the rest of the Square 9 Suite of products.

Previous versions of GlobalCapture offered a basic view of process results, requiring manual steps and drilling down to filter relevant information about specific processes. The updated batch and process management interfaces allow for much greater access to any data related to a process in the grid.

  • Database Upgrade for 3.0

    GlobalCapture 3.0 introduces a number of new database driven features that require updates to the database and historical data within it. Upgraded databases can not be reverted without a valid backup. Ensure you have a good backup BEFORE beginning the upgrade.
